Socket welding flange refers to the flange that is inserted into the flange ring ladder at the end of the pipe and welded on the outside of the pipe. There are two types: with and without a neck. The flange with neck tube has good rigidity, small welding deformation and good sealing, and can be used for occasions with pressure of 1.0~10.0MPa. Type B flanges for containers are also socket welded flanges, which are used in situations with high sealing requirements. When designing, the socket weld flange can be checked according to the integral flange.
